For the past 20 years, the Village Bakery and cafe has been an essential part of the Put-in-Bay resident’s daily routine. Thanks to the owner Pauline and her hard-working staff guests and residents have the pleasure of enjoying fresh homemade cakes, pies, and pastries. The Village Bakery is definitely where one would start their day. The Cafe opens at the crack of dawn, where their hours are 6 am to 4 pm on weekdays and 6 pm on weekends. For all the early risers this bakery is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown Put-in-Bay, right down the street from the De Rivera Park and right next to Kimberly’s Carousel. It is a great stop if you are simply looking to pick up a few bagels or simply some breakfast sandwiches on your way to your family charter boat fishing trip. Just across the street is one of the newest additions to the Put-in-Bay Restaurant scene Margaritas On The Rock featuring Tex-Mex and delicious hand-crafted specialty drinks.
