T&J’s Smokehouse, the island’s only country western restaurant and bar, is located right in downtown Put-In-Bay. The menu and atmosphere are unlike any other restaurant or bar on South Bass Island. From the country music to the crushed peanut shells on the floor, you’ll feel like you just stepped into your favorite old-time western bar!

The weekly live entertainment showcases the areas best country bands and the dueling pianos are a show of their very own! Take a break from dinner and the show for a ride on Brisket, the island’s only mechanical bull! Featuring a new menu with a variety of your favorite smoked and barbequed dishes, T&J’s Smokehouse is a must see on your trip to Put-In-Bay! They are also available for large parties and catering. T&J’s Smokehouse Menu Highlights

·       Baby Back Ribs- Hickory-Cherry Smoked Baby Back Ribs plain or sauced, with camp fries, sold by the half slab or a full slab.

·       BBQ Pork- Slow Hickory-Cherry Smoked pork butt shredded and topped with whiskey BBQ sauce and served with camp fries. Served plain or sauced.

·       BBQ Brisket-Slow Hickory-Cherry smoked Brisket served with camp fries and BBQ sauce.

T&J’s Smokehouse is a one-stop shop for BBQ lovers coming to the island with 6 different house-made sauces to choose from, they have something for everyone. Try the firecracker shrimp or the “famous” BBQ pork nachos or if you’re in the mood for a burger, they have several to choose from!

Around the T&J’s Smokehouse Neighborhood

After you’ve had your fill of some great Put-in-Bay BBQ, take a stroll down Delaware Avenue to the east and try your hand a racing the radio controlled cars at the Put-in-Bay Raceway. This challenging course allows racers to compete for time or against each other! Just across the street is Kimberly’s Carousel a 100-year-old merry go round that has been lovingly restored for young and old to enjoy. Tickets for the Carousel are sold in the Carriage House Gift Shop located next door.
