Roundhouse Bar Bartender Olympics

Sponsored by the Roundhouse Bar, this popular island event is held on the main strip Delaware Avenue and inside the red round bar. Competition begins at 7 pm with a parade and the lighting of the Olympic torch.

Local bars and restaurants perform unique skits and zany theatrics. The main event is a float parade with skits. This is followed by a keg roll. Then every team has to man up and do the can carry competition. Indoors, events include the poem, "what bartending means to me" oratory, best new drink recipe, perfect shot pour, and bartender knowledge quiz.
